Among those attending are Houston’s mother, gospel singer Cissy Houston; her ex-husband, Bobby Brown (the father of her only child, Bobbi Kristina Brown); and cousin Dionne Warwick. Ray J, Brandy, Tyler Perry and CeCe Winans, Bobbi Kristina’s godmother, will also be in attendance.
Her longtime producer Clive Davis will speak; so will her The Bodyguard co-star, Kevin Costner, and Bishop T.D. Jakes. Stevie Wonder is expected to sing “Ribbon in the Sky” in honor of the singer, and Alicia Keys and Kim Burrell will also perform. Aretha Franklin had been scheduled to sing, but she is feeling under the weather and may not be singing after all, CNN is reporting.
The ceremony will begin around 12 p.m., ET/9 a.m., PT.
She will be buried at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, N.J., where her father was interred, according to her death certificate.
